A wedding suspended between water and sky. Kristin and Brian chose Villa Emden, one of the most private places on Lake Maggiore, on the Brissago Islands — reachable only by boat.

The morning began overlooking the water, the groom waiting on the island, the ceremony outdoors under the palms of the botanical garden. Then laughter, toasts, and the kind of intimacy that only a place you can't drive to allows.
